Tour’s Program

Arrive in Bishkek. Start your tour of the city with visit Manas Monument, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people. Then walking tour around main Ala Too Square to watch ceremony of changing of the Guard of Honor, Kurmanzhan Datka Monument, main governmental buildings, and finish at the Old Square with Parliament House and the only survived in Central Asia Lenin’s Monument; Fine Arts Museum; Osh bazaar. DAY 2: BISHKEK/ cholpon ata 167 mi
Drive to Issyk Kul Lake. Stop in Cholpon Ata to visit the Regional Museum and also the Open Air Petroglyphs Museum. Arrival and accommodation at hotel situated on the border of Issyk Kul Lake. MEALS B

Drive to Karakol. Arrival and accommodation at guest house. Enjoy a city tour of Karakol, with its apple orchards, quaint neighborhoods, and somber war memorials. View the Przhevalskiy Museum and Memorial, the Russian Orthodox Church and Kupecheskii Proezd Street, which appears to be right out of the 19th century. Continue on to the Dungan Mosque, which was built in 1910 by the local Dungan community that escaped Chinese oppression as a house of worship. Finish the tour by visiting the “One village – One product” Issyk-Kul Brand handmade and natural products shop. Overnight at guest house. MEALS B

DAY 4: KARAKOL / JETI OGUZ / chon kemin 245 mi
Drive 20 miles to the Jeti Oguz gorge, a lush valley with striking red sandstone rock formations. As you approach the valley, you will pass another rock formation which resembles a broken heart. Legend says that this is the heart of a beautiful woman who died of a broken heart after two suitors killed each other fighting over her. These iconic rock formations have become symbols of the Issyk-Kul. Further drive to Chon Kemin. Arrival and accommodation at guest house. Traditional homemade dinner at the guesthouse terrace on the second floor that has terrific view to surrounding mountains and village. MEALS BLD

DAY 5: chon kemin/ bishkek 90 mi
Drive back to Bishkek. On the way, excursion to Burana Historical Complex consisting of Burana Minaret - the ruins of ancient city of Balasagyn, open air museum and mausoleum. Upon arrival accommodation at hotel and free time for your own exploration of the city. MEALS BL
