Tour’s Program

Boarding in Nantes between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. Crew presentation and welcome drink. Dinner on board. Cruise on what King Francois Ist called the “most beautiful river in France”: The Erdre.

Full board on board. Tour of Nantes, the city of the Dukes of Brittany, and of the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany. Excursion to Saint-Nazaire, a city by the sea. The Escal’Atlantic which ingeniously retraces the history of Norman and French ocean liners through a unique experience and the Saint-Nazaire shipyard. Each passenger will be asked to produce a valid passport or identity card in order to gain access to the shipyard. We’ll rejoin the ship in Saint-Nazaire. Evening of dancing. Overnight.

Full board on board. Morning spent cruising to Ancenis, which we will reach early in the afternoon. Excursion to the Muscadet region. Passing through many villages reflecting the strong identity of the wine region. Evening of entertainment. Overnight.

Full board on board. Morning spent cruising to Bouchemaine. Excursion of the town. Capital of the historical Anjou province, Angers is distinguished not only by its legacy, but also by its modern nature. Entertainment provided by our crew. Overnight.

DAY 5: BOUCHEMAINE – The Châteaux of the Loire Valley – ANCENIS
Full board. Full day’s excursion to the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. The Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, built on a small island in the middle of the Indre River, the lovely gardens surrounding the Château de Villandry (outsides), and the Château d’Ussé with fortified towers, which have inspired Charles Perrault "Sleeping Beauty". Return on board in Ancenis. Gala evening. Cruise to Nantes.

Buffet breakfast on board. Disembark around 10:00 a.m. End of our services.
