Tour’s Program

Day 1, Sunday: Arrival in Athens
Transfer from the airport to your hotel.

Day 2, Monday: Athens – Olympia
Depart by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short photo stop), drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. MEALS BD

Day 3, Tuesday: Olympia – Delphi
In the morning visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos (Lepanto) and Itea, arrive in Delphi. MEALS BD

Day 4, Wednesday: Delphi – Kalambaka
In the morning visit Delphi’s Archaeological Site and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town stated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. MEALS BD

Day 5, Thursday: Kalambaka – Athens
Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening. MEALS B


Day 6, Friday: Athens
½ day city tour of Athens: Take a short drive to Athens, the cradle of the European civilization. Walk uphill to visit the Acropolis and see the principal buildings: the Propylaia, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the magnificent Parthenon. Continue on and walk through a nice pedestrian road situated on the slopes of the Acropolis hill and reach the New Acropolis Museum (closed on Mondays). Re-embark your coach and drive through the main sightseeing highlights of Athens: you will view the Olympieion (the Temple of Olympian Zeus) from the 6th Century BC and Hadrian’s Arch (2nd Century AD). Arriving at Syntagma Square, see the the present day Parliament. In front of the Palace stands the Monument of the Unknown Soldier where two soldiers (Evzoni) stand guard continuously. Drive further along and pass the neoclassical buildings of the University, Academy and Library before arriving at the Stadium laid out under Lycurgus in the 4th Century BC and rebuilt in 1896 on its original plan for the modern Olympic Games. Transfer to the port for your embarkation. Departure from Athens at 9:00pm. MEALS BD

Day 7, Saturday: Santorini
Arrival in Santorini at 7:00am. Its incredible cliffs rise from the blue waters of the Aegean toward the azure sky. Wander around this beautiful island ot take a mini cruise to Santorini’s smaller islands and volcanoes. Explore the Akrotiri Village excavations, wander about the beautiful hilltop village of Fira, the island’s unique capital, or just relax in a café in stunning Oia Village, and watch the sunset from 300 meters above the sparkling sea. Enjoy a glass of wine with a view from the sky. Departure at 6:30pm. MEALS BLD

Day 8, Sunday: Izmir
Arrive at ancient Smyrna at 8:30am. With a population of around 3.7 million, Izmir is the third largest city in Turkey, and boasts the second largest port after Istanbul. Formerly the ancient city of Smyrna, Izmir is now a busy commercial center that rests on a vast bay. Departure at 3:00pm. MEALS BLD

Day 9, Monday: Nafplion
Arrive in Nafplion, first Greek capital at 9:00am. One of the most beautiful towns in Agrolis, the Eastern Peloponnese, and one of Greece’s most romantic cities, elegant, architecturally homogenous.Departure at 9:00pm. MEALS BLD

Day 10, Tuesday: Crete (Chania)
8:00am arrive to Chania, the second-largest town on Greece’s largest island, it is the lively capital of the western half of Crete, and was formerly the islands capital until 1971. The atmosphere has a touch of Florence and Venice combined with the culture and character of Cretan traditions. Sail at 6:00pm. MEALS BLD

Day 11, Wednesday: Rhodes
Arrive in Rhodes at 8:00am. You will have a full day to explore yet another incomparable island. Sail at 5:00pm. MEALS BLD

Day 12, Thursday: Cesme – Mykonos
Arrive in Cesme at 7:00am. Cesme is one of the most popular resorts on the Turkish coast. The sugar-sand beaches of Cesme will dazzle you, as will its myriad Ottoman fountains. Depart to Mykonos at 1:30pm and arrive at 7:00pm. Mykonos is a delightful island renowned for its lovely countryside and its beaches, its iconic windmills and sea breezes.Departure at 3:00am on Friday. MEALS BLD
